It seems that more and more Americans are suffering from sleep deprivation or sometimes insomnia. Perhaps it is the constant technology and media we are exposed to on a daily, on-demand basis. Or, maybe our diets and levels of caffeine are partly to blame for our inability to fall asleep. Stress, of course, plays a huge role in sleepless nights. Even sleep medications may backfire as we become dependent upon them over the long-term. Whatever the cause, we know sleep is very important and we need it! But how in the world can we get the rest our bodies need to recover?
