Did you know breastfeeding is one of the best things you can do for your baby? On top of strengthening the bond between you and your baby, breastfeeding has a lot of other advantages: lower risk of infections, better immune system, less colic, and lower risk of SIDS. There are benefits for mommy as well: faster weight loss after pregnancy and lower risk of breast cancer are just 2 that come to mind quickly.
In addition, while you’re feeding, or just holding baby, add a little lavender on the back of your shoulder. That way, your baby is not directly inhaling the scent, but will come to associate the smell with security and relaxation – works if dad uses it as well!!
